The shop is pretty small, the main room accounting for no more than 500 square feet; in general, the enviroment seem intact but for a broken stand and some meathooks missing their respective wares. A security camera can be spotted on a corner behind the counter, it's an old model which means it recorded locally to an holopad drive.

Gozer turned to Ghanarre. "This security camera... where is the holopad drive?"

"My husband kept it in a locked drawer in the backroom." The gran lady ushered him through the backdoor, across their living toom, to the couple's bedroom.
"There." She pointed at the bedside table. "I'm afraid Kharrus, specially after those thugs, would always refuse to let me have a look at it."

Gozer kneeled and studied the table for any anti-intruder devices, before attempting to access it. He was no hacker, but his time in CSF had taught plenty about security measures.

After a quick look, Gozer noticed it was nothing more than an old magnetic lock; from his days in the CSF he knew that one good shot could get things done.

"Step back, please." Gozer drew his (perfectly registered) firearm and aimed, then fired on the lock at the blaster's lowest setting.

Mr. Ameen jumped a little as the bothan detective produced his blaster; but before making any comments she decided to let the man do his work.
Inside the drawer, Gozer found a blaster holster, some ledgers and a little holoprojecting sphere.

Gozer carefully took them out and set them on the bed. He activated the sphere first, in hopes it might be the recording device Mrs, Ameen had spoken of. Perhaps there was evidence he might be able to use in locating her husband, or perhaps merely avenging him.

The hologram grew to a considerable size, making it easy to see every details from the scene, the buzzing sound coming from the devide indicated that this model did not produce sound; a little timer on the corner of the image showed date and hour. They sped up through the first half of the recordings, which showed nothing more then the comings and goings of a normal butchery; Gozer stopped right when the thugs stepped in: a fat besalisk, with one of his strong hands replaced by a mechanical gauntlet, and a dug, carrying a EL-16 blaster rifle in his feet/hands; both with the black sun symbol tatood on their wrists. The scene proceeded just as Madam Ameen had described, she came out of the back door and her husband ushered her to leave, the two Black Sun gave the gran a beating, broke some stuff and then took some wares.
Speed up a little more, until the day of Kharrus' disappearance: Ghanarre had left early in the morning to buy some fresh bread, a couple minutes later the two came again. The gran now produced a little KYD-21 blaster pistol and aimed at the thugs, his expression was grave and angry. The besalisk just laughed and ordered the dug to shoot, who obliged but not without getting shot on the shoulder by Kharrus; Big one just shrugged, grabbed Mr. Ameen's body (which showed no visible damage) and left the shop, followed by his limping accomplice.

Gozer immediately regretted having played the video in front of the wife. He comforted the no doubt grieving Ghanarre.
"I'll find these men. And your husband's body, if I can. I swear on my honor."
Gozer had not sworn on his honor in five years, certainly not since he had shot his former officer in cold blood. (An act which did not all haunt the Bothan's dreams.) But Bothans had honor of their own surely. It did not matter if Ghanarre Ameen understood the source of Gozer's resolution, only that he would accomplish this action.
Maxil Kelborn had never really known the culture of his race, having grown up on Mandalore, his true father and brother both human on the outside, but Mando'ade inside. Maxil himseld was still Mandalorian in his heart, though his armor had been discarded years ago, along with the Resol'nare. His most secret thoughts were not in Bothan, but in Mando'a.

Ghanarre just nodded, she was probably in shock after watching her husband get shot; she opened her mouth trying to speak twice, but nothing would come out.
"Thank you..." The gran lady managed to whisper after a couple minutes, with a heavy dismaying tone to it. "I'll get my bags done."
Madam Ameen did so in less than ten minutes, she didn't have much to take with her; or at least not much that she cared enough.
"Here... Take care of it." She gave him the keys of the Butchery. "We still had some savings, may be enough to pay me a room in Meadows."

"Very well." He told her his comlink number. "I'll take another look around before closing up." He hesitated before stating, "Know that Kharrus Ameen died defending those he loved. There is no more honorable death to be found among the stars. You married a good Gran."

"Again... Thank you, Mr. Jinx." Ghanarre bowed solemnly before leaving.

He locked the door behind her, then went to the larder. They had not discussed payment, but hopefully, she would not mind if he accepted currency in meat. While chewing on some form of sausage, Gozer sat down to finally study the documents he had seen. Presumably, Kharrus Ghanarre was indeed an honorable man, but perhaps he had made some note of his first encounter with his murderers.
