Konrad Kassal STR: 28
Konrad used the pain to fuel his strength, his could feel his suffering being turned into raw, unmatched, power. The blade caught the beast on it's very forehead, slashing through horn and bone, only to rest in soft brain tissue. Blood splattered across Kassal's face, and the beast fell beside him (some feet away of course, inertia is a bicth). On another spot of the arena the other Reek still moaned in suffering from his mortal wounds.

Konrad did not wipe the hot spray of blood from his face, it barely registering in his rage and pain fueled trance. He made his way over to the wounded reek, looked it in its sad suffering eyes, and sank the vibrosword right into the pupil to the hilt, burying it in the beast's brain with a satisfied exaltation.

The beast writhed in pain and then stopped moving at all.
Do you wish for more, Champion? Or have our kittens quenched your thirst for the night?
Said Konudo's voice out of the speakers.

Konrad pulled his vibrosword from the reek's skull after it had breathed his last, looking up at the announcer's box.
"I'll challenge one of them if you have nothing left for me." he replied with disdain, motioning to the crowd.

As the blood started to flow normally again in his body, the rush of the moment gone, Kassal felt a sudden streak of pain across his chest.
We can't waste our whole staff in a single night, Champion.
Konudo grinned, mouthing a "meet me in my office" to Kassal. Then turned to the cheering crowds.
Next week, our Champion shall face even more incredible odds.

Konrad grit his teeth at the pain, wiping the blood from his vibrosword. It was not enough. It was never enough. He turned towards the gates from which he had entered, ignoring the cheers of the disdainful crowd. He hated them all and would gladly carve his way through them given half the chance.
He made his way straight to Konudo's office, seeing no reason to wait. There was little else worth doing until the next match.

Konudo took quite a while to be back at his office; Kassal must have waited for no less than an hour.
"Konrad, Konrad, my boy!" The changrian said coming in, flanked by his usual bodyguards, two Black Sun thugs. "That was an impressive demonstration you gave us today. I had to congratulate you face to face."
The imposing blue figure took a seat across Kassal, he had a grin on his lips.

"It is nature for the strong to slay the weak. I need not congratulations." was Konrad's cold reply, choosing to remain standing, sizing up the two bodyguards. "When is the next bout?"
